Le Liban se cherche toujours un président. Le processus qui a commencé fin septembre au sein du Parlement est toujours bloqué faute d'accord politique, alors que Michel Aoun a quitté le palais présidentiel de Baabda, près de Beyrouth, le 31 octobre. Jusqu'ici, un seul candidat s'est officiellement déclaré : Michel Moawad, jeune député de l'opposition et fils du président René Moawad, assassiné en 1989.

Michel Moawad, the candidate who does not want a compromise president for Lebanon
Lebanon is still looking for a president. The process which began at the end of September within Parliament is still blocked for lack of political agreement, while Michel Aoun left the presidential palace of Baabda, near Beirut, on October 31. So far, only one candidate has officially declared himself: Michel Moawad, a young opposition deputy and son of President René Moawad, assassinated in 1989.
